Chart notes
TOM'S AVATAR reserved off the pace at the back of the main body of the field, made a steady advance closing the gap to mid-stretch, found his best stride late and surged in time in the final yards. TAP THE CARD JACK pressed the pace to the turn, assumed command on the bend, opened a clear lead in the lane, stalled when on the lead alone waiting for competition and was nailed on the wire. SKYTREE stalked the leaders down the backside, rallied nearing the quarter pole, was unable to pass the runner-up and ran-on through the lane. TAP THE WIND set the pace under pressure for three-eighths and weakened fading from contention. PARTY BOY was away slowly from the gate and never proved a factor. This race had a timing error or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate times available.
