Chart notes
MAD BANKER prompted the leader three wide while under a good hold, inched closer on the far turn and took over three wide and then floated out to come five wide off the turn and came out under left handed crop and bumped MR. RIPPLE by the three-sixteenths marker and then kicked clear to prove best under a drive to prove best. MR. RIPPLE was off slowly, then moved out to have steady advance and made a four wide move on the far turn and was carried out six wide leaving the turn, then was bumped soundly by the three sixteenths by MAD BANKER then was out-kicked in the final furlong by that rival. EMBRACE MY UNCLE was settled back early, advanced three to five wide on the far turn and came six wide into the lane and had a good late kick to gain the show award. MCCRAKENS GHOST tracked the pace two wide and was in between rivals by the seven-sixteenths and then made a three wide bid leaving the turn to loom boldly by the furlong marker but flattened out late losing the show award. ESCAPE KEY set the pace on the inside and was headed leaving the five sixteenths and battled on to the upper stretch but weakened. CAP COM was allowed to settle on the inside and moved out to be three wide by the quarter pole but never threatened. TEN GAUGE tracked the pace along the inside and fell back on the far turn and then was pulled up leaving the quarter pole, was vetted on the track by the vet and loaded onto the equine ambulance for further evaluation. STEWARDS INQUIRY and JOCKEYS OBJECTION the number two against the number seven for interference around the three-sixteenths, after the STEWARDS reviewed the replays the number seven was DISQUALIFIED from first and placed second.
