Chart notes
TAKEITAWAY pressed the pace from inside, drew clear when asked, was best. FIVEO'CLOCKCHARLIE got away well, attended then forced the pace from outside three to four wide, weakened in the stretch but just saved the place. COOLTHING stalked from outside, was forced four wide on the turn, kept on between runners late in a blanket finish for the minor awards. SPAN was bumped at the start, raced well back inside but off the fence, came out in upper stretch, finished well to narrowly miss second. WAYLLEN RICHARD broke a step slowly, advanced three to five wide on the turn, evened out between runners in deep stretch. ONTHEWAYJIMMY set the early pace from between runners, dropped back and faded. DON'TTAPTHETILL bumped a rival at the start, switched out very wide heading up the backstretch, went five then six deep on the turn, failed to rally.
