Chart notes
SANTOS TO WILSON away in good order, showed the way out of the chute while in hand, continued to set the pace while quickening a bit into the turn, repelled a mild and brief bid from the runner up while remaining under restraint into the lane, remained comfortably clear to the wire. SNEAK PREVIEW off the early pace while out in the strip up the backstretch, moved closer three wide late in the turn while the winner remained in hand, could do little more with that one through the lane, clearly second best. SMART STRIKER lacked speed while racing off the inside, came four wide for the drive, proved no match to the top two in the run to the wire. BROOKLYN GUY fell well back following the start and was never a threat. SWAGGISH chased the winner out of the chute and up the backstretch, yielded to the runner up midway on the turn and continued to weaken through the lane.
