Chart notes
DEMOLITION allowed the pace to go early while off the inside, began a steady three wide advance early in the turn, collared the leaders in upper stretch, briefly vied with that pair while widest past the furlong marker then kicked clear. JALAPENO with the early pace while three wide, dueled into and through the turn in the two path, fell back as bit late in the turn then rejoined the battle while between horses and inside the winner with a furlong remaining, could not match strides with that one late, drew clear for the second spot. IRISH ADIEU broke on top, alternated up front into the turn closest to the inside, gained a larger advantage by late in the turn and into the lane, weakened the final furlong, comfortably saved the show. VALEN TIME with the early pace while between horses, fell back to race in the second flight after a quarter, went one paced through the turn and continued evenly through the stretch. BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL lacked speed while racing outside, four to five wide through the turn, lacked a closing kick. CRIMSON HALO unruly prior to the start, hesitated to be off slowly and trailed throughout.
