Chart notes
MR GERSON broke sharply, was clear early and drew off under steady handling before gearing down late. DARROWBY saved ground, shifted to the four path near the eighth pole and gained the place late despite losing the crop near the eighth pole. FORTUNE KING saved ground and raced evenly. YALTA was unrushed in the three path and bid belatedly. CONCRETE OVERLAY was away slowly, raced in the four path at the quarter pole and improved position late. HEART OF A HERO stalked the pace in the two path before fading in the stretch. SKEPTICISM was unrushed early inside, bid in early stretch and faltered.
