Chart notes
CAN'T DENY IT pressed the pace outside of a rival, bid near the eighth pole and was clear under confident handling. LINZER led inside but couldn't hold off the winner. UNBEATABLE saved ground, shifted to the three path near the eighth pole but had no late gain. SCOTTY'S ON EDGE stalked the pace inside, angled to the three path near the three-eighths pole, bumped a foe at the top of the stretch but had no late bid. SURF CITY raced in the three path, bid at the top of the stretch but faltered in the drive. BIG VINCE pressed the pace in the three path under an early snug hold, was bumped in early stretch and faded in the drive. FEAR AND LOATHING saved ground to no avail.
