EMPIRE RANCH set a pressured early pace, raced off the rail through the turns, kept rivals safe and was best today. STRAIGHTAWAY pressed the early pace, raced three wide through the second turn, followed the winner home and was second best. DEACON JONES broke slow, was taken back early, made a five wide middle move through the second turn and offered a mild late rally. MUCHO MACHO CAM was unhurried early, raced along the inside into the home turn, drifted out late and offered no rally. STOKE THE FIRE was outrun early, raced three wide through the second turn and offered no late gain. AIR OF GHURAIR was reserved early, raced four wide into the second turn and was empty.
