Chart notes
IKNOWAGUY set the pace up the backstretch, vied around the turn, shook free turning for home, ran on gamely near the inside and remained clear. FLAT SPROUT tracked inside in the opening quarter, hustled along two wide around the turn, came four paths wide entering the lane, ran on three wide and held place. KING GEORGE settled and saved ground through early stages, angled out two to three paths wide at the head of the lane, lacked a clear path, got clear three to four wide late and edged closer. PRINCE AND PENNY pressed the pace up the backstretch, vied with the winner around the turn, could not match strides turning for home, ran on to the furlong marker then came up empty. ECHOBAYOU tracked the early pace, chased two wide around the turn then gave way. BANK SWAP was off a step awkward at the start, raced outside off the early pace, coaxed three wide to race in range mid-way around the turn then dropped back in the lane.
