Chart notes
HAVE STYLE showed the way with FIRST LIGHT alongside, edged clear from that rival on the far turn, remained free into the last sixteenth and held well over the late run from HOT DAY GIRL in the end. HOT DAY GIRL settled in the two path, got moved to the three path briefly early on the first turn then moved back in, picked up stride two then three wide on the far turn, closed in on the leader entering the final sixteenth, kept gaining with each stride but was not enough. IMPRESSIONISTIC trailed along the inside early, gained while easing to the two path on the far turn, swung widest leaving the bend, showed late run and finished a clear third. FIRST LIGHT pressed HAVE STYLE from outside through the early going, lost touch with that rival but remained close in the two path on the far turn, pursued within range to midstretch and weakened in the last sixteenth. SNAPSHOT tracked in the two path, came under a ride on the far turn and weakened down the lane. FANCY DANZING settled inside, shifted to the two path briefly early on the clubhouse then moved back to the rail, crept closer in the middle stages, stayed on the fence to the stretch and weakened.
