APURO led early, challenged for the lead in the upper stretch, dueled through the lane and proved best. DRUM BUNNY assumed command between horses into the turn, responded when challenged to duel through the stretch and was outfinished in a good effort. PEVS DISTANT DRUM was hustled along to press the pace, bid inside to loom a threat, hung late and held for show. JMARK saved ground to the turn, angled out, finished well and didn't have enough late. ALBERTUS was last away, never far off the pace, lacked a rally and failed to menace. SMOOTHWHSKYGOINDWN was crowded and steadied early, taken wide and lacked a bid.
