Chart notes
ART FAIR coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand just off the inside and then along the inside under pressure from MISCHIEVOUS M to the outside throughout, came under coaxing with five-sixteenths to go, swung four wide into upper stretch, dug in under threat through the length of the stretch and held gamely and stubbornly to the wire. MISCHIEVOUS M got bumped askew at the start by BIG HAT WILLIE due to pressure from CONNIVING breaking inwards, pressed the pace of the aforementioned foe from the outside three then two wide, got roused five wide into upper stretch, fought on latched on to the finish but was ultimately rebuffed to the line. TRUST ISSUES brushed the near side stall at the start, chased two to three wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths marker, angled six wide into upper stretch, kept on to the end. CONNIVING broke in at the start bumping BIG HAT WILLIE into MISCHIEVOUS M, chased four wide under a ride from three furlongs out, went eight to nine wide into upper stretch and improved position to the wire. BIG HAT WILLIE got bumped at the start by CONNIVING breaking inwards and in turn bumped MISCHIEVOUS M in the hindquarters, chased three then two wide under coaxing from the three-eighths pole, angled six wide into upper stretch, weakened.
