Chart notes
CLASSY BEACH broke on top, clear early out in the strip, briefly dueled on the outside late backstretch, clear again turn, continued to hold the advantage into the lane, extended that advantage a bit through upper stretch, idled a bit past the furlong marker, found enough more late while coming in to just hold off the runner up. LADY ROCKULA lacked speed while out in the strip in the run up the backstretch, four wide into the turn, worked way through the inside by late in the bend, rallied up the rail, late bid when in just a bit tight at the wire, missed. ESCARGOT back off the pace well out in the strip, continued four wide through the turn, proved no match for the top two in the drive, up for the show. STORM THE POINTE bumped and bothered at the start, was used and moved up to duel inside the winner the opening furlong, fell back off that one into the turn along the rail, steered out and chased that rival into the lane then had little left in the late going. CULTURE last to leave, well back for a half, came three wide out the turn when being called on for some run, staged a late run while too late for the show. DILLY DALLY away well from the outside, raced forward and three wide, continued in contention into the stretch then faltered in the final furlong to lose several positions. DANCINGINMOONLIGHT went one paced along the inside, lacked a finishing response. SPANISH FULL MOON bothered at the start, remained back. CAJUN EMPRESS unruly in the gate, bobbled then broke out to bother a couple of outer rivals, was never a threat.
