Chart notes
COPPER WIND broke alertly and set the early pace, dictated terms from the inside into the turn, kicked clear into the stretch, kept to task into the final sixteenth then held sway to the wire. AIRS AT JUILLIARD allowed to settle, roused four wide nearing the quarter pole, swung five wide to upper stretch, closed well into the final sixteenth, could not reel in the winner in deep stretch and held for second. TERRA BELLA well placed while saving ground in the early stages, tracked from the inside nearing the quarter marker, chased into upper stretch, could not find more to the final sixteenth, was outkicked late for the place and held for the show. DIVINE WIND bobbled at the start but was away in good order, raced close up to the early pace while three wide, stalked to the quarter marker, gave chase into the stretch then yielded to the top three in the late going. PRIVATE DEBBIE broke out a bit at the start and made contact with MARE'S MUSIC leaving the gate, settled off of the early pace while never far back, ridden along three wide nearing the quarter marker, ran in pursuit to mid-stretch, was caught in traffic inside of the furlong pole, no final bid. DEADLY BEAUTY vied for the early lead with COPPER WIND, pressed the pacesetter between foes into the turn, lost ground nearing the top of the lane, chased to mid-stretch then weakened. REDRIVER STORM settled in the second flight, tracked the pace three then four wide nearing the quarter marker, lacked a response when called upon into the stretch and came up empty late. MARE'S MUSIC bobbled then bumped and squeezed back at the start, trailed to the turn, saved ground to the quarter marker, angled out for the stretch drive but had no late response.
