Chart notes

SMILING ROSIE saved ground while unhurried near the back, was urged along on the far turn, moved to the two path outside the quarter-pole, swung into the stretch in the five path, rallied outside to get the lead coming to the sixteenth-pole then went clear under strong urging and pulled up in some distress before being transported of the track via equine ambulance. ROAGNA went to the front, rounded the first turn in the two path, showed the way down the backstretch, was asked while inside on the far turn, came under a right-handed crop in upper stretch, remained clear into the final furlong but was overtaken by the winner at the sixteenth-pole while able to get the place. GREYJOY was well placed on the inside, bumped with a rival leaving the backstretch, dropped back some on the far turn, chased under a drive in the stretch and lacked the needed kick while just able to get the show. SONGMAKER raced inside for most of the first turn then moved to the two path, settled off the pace, was roused in the three then four path on the far turn, chased under a drive in the stretch and just missed the show. LESLIE'S STAR bumped with HEAVENS LEE just after the start, raced in the two path on the first turn, tracked the pace on the inside of a foe with no cover in front, bumped with rivals leaving the backstretch, chased in the two path through the far turn, pursued the leader under a drive into the final furlong and weakened. BOSSY DISH tucked in on the initial straightaway, was reserved in the two path, raced under urging on the far turn then between foes in upper stretch and lacked the needed response. LUCKFORYOU raced in the three path on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, made light contact with an opponent leaving the backstretch, chased in the three path on the far turn, dropped back in upper stretch and came up empty while drifting out some around the sixteenth-pole. HEAVENS LEE went around the turns in the two to three path, came into the stretch in the four path and was no factor.
