CRAFTED was reserved off the pace moved up to join CHECK THE FACTS AND SHANGHAI PRINCE nearing the quarter pole pole, dueled for the lead from that point but was unable to get by CHECK THE FACTS during the drive. SHANGHAI PRINCE dueled for the lead to deep stretch racing two-wide but was unable to stay with the top two late. CLEVELAND POWER was allowed to settle saving ground and failed to be a factor.
