Chart notes
EASY LIKE BREEZY was void of speed and the distant trailer down the backstretch started a three-wide rally early on the turn, came out nine-wide into the stretch, rallied strongly despite racing on the wrong lead through the stretch run, and was along in time to take the top prize. RONNIE'S ACE initially outpaced, moved up through the turn while racing three to four wide, split horses five-wide in the stretch, had the lead inside the sixteenth marker, but was outfinished by the winner. DAAT mid-pack early, made an early bid leaving the half to threaten the leading pair approaching the quarter pole, was stuck behind horses turning for home, slipped through along the rail with a furlong to go, rallied, but was too late. FRUIT BASKET came away well to get forward position early, tracked the early pace, then made a three-wide bid for the lead at the quarter pole, loomed a big threat late but was outfinished in the final yards. GULF DIVER broke well but did not contest the early pace, tracked close up, came under a ride on the turn, but flattened out. DIRTY DEAL was allowed to settle near the back early, made a mild advance through the turn, finished evenly, but lacked the finishing kick to threaten for the win. BLUE KING raced wide and lacked a finish. ONE GRAND SLAM steadied slightly after the start, settled at the back of the main pack, struggled to keep up on the turn, kept to task in the stretch, and managed to pass some tiring rivals. ZYANARO dropped back early after a level start, then lacked a rally. MR DIGITS dueled inside, weakened after passing the three-sixteenths marker, and tired in the stretch. RUNNING FOR DEWEY dueled outside of a rival, then gave way in upper stretch. SOMETHING CRAZY broke in a tangle, steadied early, moved up to mid-pack late on the backstretch run, then started to lose ground on the turn, and stopped in the stretch.
