URGENT ACTION dropped in entering the first turn then was confidently handled stalking the pace, eased out near the three eighths then pulled his way clear leaving the five sixteenths, responded when asked soon into the lane, denied a brief outer threat from MY LAST ESCAPADE then drew away while being kept alert to deep stretch. MY LAST ESCAPADE hopped inward at the break, regrouped and rated forwardly behind the leading trio, angled out and ranged up three wide into the stretch, chased on past mid stretch, flattened out but was well clear of the rest. LORD BLOCK , forced inward by MY LAST ESCAPADE at the break, recovered and settled off the pace while saving ground, eased out and worked between foes entering the stretch, pursued past mid stretch but lacked a further response. CITIZEN EX stalked three wide, failed to kick on leaving the five sixteenths and weakened. CHIEF GROSS sped to the front, set the pace towards the inside, failed to contain the winner's outer bid leaving the three eighths and faltered through the drive.
