Chart notes
ARTELLA vied outside a rival early on then in hand between foes past the three eighths, remained confidently handled sparring with an outer CATAENJO approaching the stretch, edged clear under encouragement leaving the three sixteenths, dug in when encountered by DIZZY MISS LIZZY inside the sixteenth pole, kept on tenaciously under stout left handed asks and prevailed. DIZZY MISS LIZZY disputed the pace towards the rail and then inside a pair of foes leaving the far turn, eased back a bit mid turn, came out in upper stretch, closed in under pressure past the furlong grounds, drew alongside the winner in deep stretch, fought gamely but was kept at bay. CATAENJO stumbled at the break, regrouped and tracked the dueling leaders, moved up and bid three deep into the far turn, dueled on near even terms outside the winner leaving the five sixteenths, wandered outward while unable to quicken soon into the lane then faded through the final furlong. FOXY MADEMOISELLE stumbled badly soon after the break, dropped off the pace after recovering, saved ground into the lane but was unable to make an impact.
