MAGNI got brushed after the start by THREE LITTLE BIRDS and was briefly taken in hand, chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch, until tucked to the two path just outside the half mile pole, raced just off the inside through the turn, got let out swinging four wide into upper stretch, split foes and then seized command just inside the three-sixteenths marker and edged away under a drive to prevail. MAJESTIC ARC coaxed from the gate, cut the pace from the two path under pressure from SOLOMINI'S WORLD to the outside, had that rival get on even terms through the latter portion of the bend and spun three wide into upper stretch, got collared just inside the three-sixteenths pole, ran on to secure the place honors clear of the rest. THREE LITTLE BIRDS coaxed from the start, chased five then four wide under a ride from three furlongs out, tipped six wide at the head of the stretch, weakened. SOLOMINI'S WORLD coaxed from the gate, pressed the pace of MAJESTIC ARC from the outside four then three wide coming under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go when on even terms for command with that rival, swung five wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive and tired through to the finish. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
