Chart notes
SPENARD settled around the first turn then rated outside in the second flight going by the half mile marker, roused forward three wide mid-way around the far turn, cleared the lead turning for home and pulled away convincingly. TRIPLE UP prompted the early pace, vied around the far turn, was no match for pulling away winner in the stretch but ran on with response for second best. ORANGE DIABLO raced near mid-pack around the first turn, rated two wide between foes going by the half mile marker, edged out of flight and shifted to the outside with three furlongs left to run, was ridden four to five paths wide past the quarter pole, angled in at the head of the lane, continued to drift inward while steadily gaining position and secured a share. FIRST BID settled off the early pace, began to pick up the tempo near the quarter pole, got shuffled back at the head of the lane, tipped a path wider, came under right handed pressure and gained a minor share. OWN THE FIELD raced near midpack, saved ground then tipped two wide for the drive and failed to move on. RATLEFF was reserved and trailed in the back, swung widest into the lane and passed a couple faders. SUCCESSION raced up close then came up empty around the far turn and gave way. RED ROMANCE set a pressured pace, vied around the far turn then tired in the drive.
