Chart notes
WINE COLLECTOR shadowed the pace setter in the early stages, contested the lead in the far turn, took charge at the eighth, held under strong encouragement. SPECIALAGENTJONSON settled off the pace on the inside, shifted out to the three path in the stretch, closed well but came up just short. FRIDAYSWITHMURRAY stumbled at the start, continued off the pace, was roused four wide through the far turn, began to flatten out a bit in the upper stretch before finding another gear in the last stage to rally for the show award. K PAZ gave chase along the inside, swung out to the four path at the top of the lane but came up empty. I'M DUE assumed early command, faced pressure from WINE COLLECTOR in the far turn, gave way at the eighth pole and flattened out. SARATOGA CRUISER trailed for most, never involved. FIGHTNOMOREFOREVER found early placement in the middle of the pack, weakened in the stretch. RELATOR found early position around the middle of the pack, moved up to stalk the pace three wide, pulled up in the far turn, escorted off in an equine ambulance.
