Chart notes
LOOKS LUCKY TO ME stalked from outside, went three wide on the turn advancing to take the lead past the quarter pole, edged clear in the stretch. DESSERT FIRST tracked in behind the pace, shifted to the rail about the nine-sixteenths, tried to go through inside and was in just a bit tight along the rail in mid-stretch, kept on inside but was second best. GOLDEN EDGE was coaxed forward and soon took the lead from inside a rival, set the pace from off the rail, drifted a bit in upper stretch, yielded. BELLA FRANCESCA lacked early speed, raced inside coming off the rail on the turn, was never near enough to threaten. TAKETHESILVER was strong urged from the start gaining a brief early lead, dropped back between foes past the nine-sixteenths, raced outside on the turn, was unable to rally while floating seven wide into upper stretch.
