Chart notes
GIRLOLAMO'GLORY settled off the pace, went three to four wide on the turn, swung seven deep into upper stretch, gained steadily to take the lead about a sixteenth out and edged away late. JIMMIES BIG DAY stalked then moved forward to press into the turn, went three to four wide on that bend taking a narrow lead about the quarter pole, was outfinished. EXCELLENT EMPIRE stalked in behind the leading pair into the turn near the inside, saved some ground, cut the corner getting through up the rail turning into upper stretch, kept on but needed more. FIRE BRYAN stalked the leaders into the turn, was encouraged along four wide coming past the five-sixteenths, made a mild bid at the top of the stretch, flattened out late. STROPE shifted in heading up the backstretch racing mid-pack, saved ground on the turn, came out in late stretch and ran on. PERSONAL JET settled off the pace racing two to three wide on the turn, came out in the stretch, ran on. PONTUS broke a step slowly, settled at the back switching out off the inside, advanced outside a foe going two to four wide on the turn, swung nine wide into upper stretch and passed some tired rivals. NINE OH ONE shifted in early racing toward the back, saved ground near but off the fence on the turn, came out leaving that bend, was never near enough to threaten. MISTER SHARPIE steadied slightly at the start, moved forward outside foes racing four wide on the turn drifting out several paths late on that bend, was not a threat. HAND OVER MY HEART moved quickly to the lead, set the pace inside foes but off the rail, gave way.
