Chart notes
SPICY TACO bothered when the runner up broke out race near the back early, moved up inside, steadied behind a rival late backstretch, moved out, rallied four wide out of the turn, late surge to win going away at the end. STRIKE broke out but alertly, soon clear, was pressed by a pair of rivals into and through the turn, clear again when straightened for home, could not hold off the winner late, clear of the rest. KING HENRY moved up to race closest to the runner soon after the start, pressed that one while between horses through much of the turn, could not keep pace through upper stretch then could not contain the winner, lasted to save the show. ETRUSCAN WARRIOR broke back, continued to lag well back, four wide when beginning to advance into the stretch, finished willingly while too late for the show. SLEW DE ORO went one paced while off the inside, lacked a closing punch. ROAD TO MIDNIGHT forwardly placed early outside, moved closer in the three path late in the turn then gave way when the real running began entering the stretch. WIN JET WIN settled in mid pack along the inside, also backed up in faltering in the drive.
