Chart notes
VERY COSMOPOLITAN was rated under a snug hold while tugging a bit wanting to do more, sat patiently along the inside, angled out leaving the turn, shifted to the four path at the head of the lane, responded gamely when called upon, swept by the field and finished going away. SECRET BEACH stalked the pace up the backstretch, came under a ride late on the far turn, hustled along three wide in upper stretch, poked a head in front at the furlong marker, briefly cleared the lead then got overtaken by the winner. R N B BABY raced o0ff the early pace, was ridden along three wide late on the far turn, shifted wider at the head of the lane, showed response and gained a share. LADY CAPTAIN bumped with rival at the start, prompted the pace up the backstretch, vied around the turn, battled on past the furlong marker then gave way. DIXIE SURPRISE bumped with rival at the start, settled off the pace, urged inside down the lane and failed to respond. KANSAS SMOKE sat off the top two flights along the outside, had no response when called upon around the far turn and offered no late run. RAGAZZA VINCENTE set the pace, vied around the far turn, continued to duel to the eighth pole then faded. E. L.'S LEGACY raced in the back throughout.
