Chart notes
HELLO FRANKIE was unhurried around the first turn and was nicely rated up the backstretch, let out a notch with three furlongs left to run, quickly advanced to challenge BANKER'S JET for the lead approaching the quarter pole, vied outside of rival into the lane, shook free in the final furlong and finished going away. BANKER'S JET led the way around the first turn then set a pressured pace up the backstretch, challenged by the winner at the quarter pole, vied along the inside into the final furlong and yielded late. ASK ARTHUR was reserved in the back, swung five paths wide at the head of the lane, responded under firm handling and rallied for a share. PALACE ROCK raced in range along the inside, sustained a bid along the rail in the stretch run and got caught late for show. TOMS PROSPECTOR broke sharp and was forwardly placed around the first turn, forced the pace up the backstretch, lost position around the far turn and ran on evenly down the lane. ORPHAN SANDY raced in range along the inside, came four paths wide entering the head of the lane and posed no late threat. FIVE CHARLIE stalked through early stages, continued in contention under a ride around the far turn then gave way.
