Chart notes
CHIP HONCHO steadied between rivals entering the clubhouse turn, was always within striking distance, waited through the second bend, shifted four wide entering the stretch, rallied under left handed urging and was along in time. OCELLI settled five wide, rallied four then three wide on the far turn and through upper stretch to gain a narrow advantage before the furlong marker then couldn't handle the winner and finished clear for second. TRENDSETTER never far back, finished determinedly out near the middle of the racetrack. DESERT GATE pressed the pace two wide into the far turn, made the lead, set the pace into the stretch then was outfinished. CHAD ALLAN steadied along the rail entering the first turn, raced close up for six furlongs then faded. BULL BY THE HORNS was no factor. ALBUS stalked the early pace, offered a mild bid three wide after a half mile, kept on the through far turn then came up empty. ROBUSTA set a pressured pace along the inside into the second turn then was used up. JUPITER close up four wide for six furlongs flattened out.
