Chart notes
STEPN INTO TRAFFIC was slow early, rallied around the turn, bid five wide, closed steadily, got up late and inched clear. GIRLS DON'T CRY pressed the pace, challenged three across on the turn, dueled past the eighth pole, inched away and was outclosed. WILD STEEL raced in close, dropped back into the turn, angled out at the top of the lane, put in a steady bid and got up for show. CHANNEL LAUNCH was void of early speed, found her best stride late and was gaining ground. FLAQUITA vied to mid stretch and was unable to sustain her bid. MICHIGA lacked a rally in a wide trip and failed to threaten. TENSAS BOLT pressed the pace along the inside, challenged for the lead along the rail on the turn, weakened in the drive and faded through the stretch. ALL MARKED UP vied early, was checked hard into the turn and dropped back. THE STEWARDS' POSTED AN INQUIRY CONCERNING POSSIBLE INTERFERENCE ON THE TURN. NO CHANGE WAS MADE. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction, and it was re-timed using video technology to obtain the most accurate final time available.
