Chart notes
TOP OF THE ROCK rushed up the rail to take the lead while setting the pace, inched away on the turn and kicked clear in the stretch to prove best. PALACE ATTAINED pressed the pace from two wide to midway through the turn but couldn't keep pace with the leader before digging in late to save the place. RUSTY CAGE was off slow then had to advance from four wide to be in contention near the quarter pole but started to tire in deep stretch and held the show. RIDIN SOLO stalked the pace from three wide to near the quarter pole but lacked the late response into the stretch. RACER REX was slow to find his stride leaving the gate and trailed the field before making a mild belated rail bid in the stretch but was not a factor.
