Chart notes
DERBYNESS brushed with GO JOE WON at the start, drifted out bumping PREACHA MEYERS entering the first turn, stalked outside GO JOE WON down the backstretch, overtook that one on the far turn, opened up approaching the stretch and lasted under rousing. PREACHA MEYERS , bumped entering the first turn, remained a forward factor down the backstretch, eased out three wide mid way on the far turn and gamely rallied outside the winner. INDY MAGIC lacked speed, stayed along the inner rail down the backstretch, around the far turn, swung out in upper stretch and came up empty. GO JOE WON brushed with the winner at the start, was sent to the front and moved to the inner rail, lost the lead on the far turn and gave way in the stretch run. STRAIGHT TO WATER , outrun, was eased late.
