BLACK MAGICIAN sprinted clear from inside, challenged by HOT CHICKS ONLY with three furlong remaining, drifted four wide around the bend, shook free midstretch and held safely in the end. DEVIL MOON chased three deep into the turn, exited the bend four wide, finished willingly to gain second but could not threaten the winner. CHASIN MUNNY tracked four wide leaving the backstretch, came six wide into the lane, produced a mild rally and gained third. MIDNITE MUSKET chased after the lone speed between foes, rounded the bend in the two path and flattened out. HOT CHICKS ONLY chased four deep leaving the backstretch, bid from outside at the three-eighths pole, got floated five wide late on the bend, could not kick on with the leader in midstretch and weakened in the final furlong. ALL THE GREATS followed in range four wide into the turn, came six wide into the stretch and faded.
