Chart notes
DRY POWDER set the pace on the inside, dueled in the two path on the far turn, responded when roused turning for home, regained command, edged away and held well under urging. LIKA ROLLING STONE raced two wide off the pace, chased on the far turn, rallied four wide into the stretch, bid at the furlong marker and dug in gamely outside to the finish. IVY GIRL trailed the field, made a rail bid on the far turn, then was in tight and shuffled back midway on the turn, moved up inside entering the stretch, rallied on rail and dug in gamely to the finish. FLOWERS FOR ME was off slowly, stalked three wide, bid four wide on the far turn, led at the quarter pole, dueled and weakened in the final furlong. INEFFICIENCY pulled hard in the early stages, then stalked close up two wide, bid three wide on the far turn, dueled and tired. EQUUS tracked on the inside, chased on the far turn and lacked a rally. A Jockey's Objection by the rider of IVY GIRL against the winner was dismissed.
