Chart notes
BROAD STROKES stalked the pace outside, took over in mid-stretch and pulled away in a moderate drive. CRAVING CARBS hustled to the front, shook loose briefly on the turn then weakened in the stretch. ALYVIA MAVIS dropped back early, chased wide and continued willingly while no threat to the winner. CLASSIC MYSTERY trailed to mid-stretch then caught fading rivals. ALYVIA'S LIL GIRL forced the pace inside, was taken up sharply into the far turn and faded. NOUVEAU RICHE dropped back early inside and never menaced. The stewards posted an inquiry into the incident at the far turn but the result was allowed to stand.
