Chart notes
A. P. SCORE was allowed to settle in early stages, given cue three to four wide at the head of the lane, responded gamely and got up in final stride. I FORGOT THE TIME sat just off the top pair in opening stages, vied three wide around the turn, continued to match strides into the lane, shook free at the sixteenth pole then got caught approaching the wire. HONEST TO PETE vied inside of rival soon after the start, dueled around the turn, fought back into the final furlong then weakened late. FLAT OUT OLIVER raced in range along the inside, lacked clear racing room and steadied along around the turn, tipped two wide for the drive and just missed show. SMART EDGE vied soon after the start, continued to battle around the turn then tired in the drive. MY LIQUID LUNCH hopped slightly at the start, was not too far back early on, had no response around the turn and retreated.
