Chart notes
FRIENDLY GHOST settled off the pace outside at the rear, shifted in a bit saving ground near the rail on the turn, came out a touch to split rivals near the furlong marker still just off the inside, surged to take the lead and prevail. YACHT BOY settled off the pace, advanced inside on the turn, fanned six to seven wide leaving that bend, bid in mid-stretch taking a brief narrow lead, was outfinished but second best. WAGNER took hold clearing the gap then moved out off the rail just after, stalked about mid-pack racing two to three wide on the turn, angled seven to eight wide turning into upper stretch with much to do, finished well to get up outside for show honors. SHADOW REALM exchanged a very minor brush just after the start, made an early advance between foes starting from the nine-sixteenths, stalked between runners two to three wide, made a mild brief bid at the top of the stretch racing four wide, lacked the needed kick and lost third late. BACHELOR PAD took the lead after the opening sixteenth, set the pace near the inside on or just off the rail, was challenged at the top of the stretch, weakened gradually thereafter. HUMBER RIVER stalked from outside three to four wide through the turn, failed to rally. POSEIDON STEEL exchanged a very light brush at the start, settled outside at the rear, raced four to seven wide throughout, made no impact. ZIO CAVALLO got away well and had a brief early lead, tracked the leader from inside, came up empty.
