SPIRIT'S MISCHIEF vied for the lead with three furlongs left to run, shook free late on the turn, came two wide into upper stretch and kept clear. TIME MACHINE vied two wide into the turn, could not move on with the winner past the quarter pole, sustained a steady bid down the lane and finished second best. MASTER GAME angled to the inside entering the turn, saved ground, launched a rail bid at the head of the lane an secured a share. QUARTER RAT raced off the top trio in opening stages, chased four paths wide around the turn, swung widest into the lane, ran on with interest but needed more for serious impact. CALL ME ICE MAN vied three wide around the turn then flattened in the lane. BAND'S FREE SPIRIT raced in the back, saved ground around the turn and had no response.
