Chart notes
J T'S IMAGINATION raced midpack around the first turn and tracked the top trio up the backstretch, let out a notch and quickly advanced to loo a threat at the quarter pole, hustled along turning fort home, took over the lead in upper stretch and finished going away. INCA EMPIRE settled nicely just off midpack through early stages, picked up the pace mid-way around the far turn, hustled along four wide entering the head of the lane, was no late match for pulling away winner but ran on with response to hold place. BEYOND BEST was unhurried and saved ground up the backstretch, shifted out leaving the far turn, hustled along two wide down the lane and just missed place. RIDING DOUBLE prompted the early pace, kept up close into upper stretch then gave way. PEACE CLOUD set a pressured pace up the backstretch, cleared the lead and held firm around the far turn, got collared by the winner in upper stretch and weakened in the final furlong. FORCED RANKING stumbled at the start and failed to move into contention. NULLARBOR prompted the pace around the first turn, remained forwardly placed up the backstretch then came up empty in the far turn.
