Chart notes
TRIPLE START settled in hand to be the trailer for the first half mile, responded willingly on the far turn to rally to contention, circled six wide turning for home to take the lead in mid-stretch and pulled away while in hand late. I'M NO ANGEL tracked the leaders to the final turn, rallied on the bend to loom five wide in upper stretch, was no match for the winner down the lane while finishing well to be second best. CITY LEADER raced four wide in the first turn, tracked from the outside down the backstretch, rallied to loom from four wide on the far turn and flattened out in the lane unable to sustain. GRAND MORNING set the pace under mild early pressure, continued to battle on the lead for the middle half mile and tired at the head of the lane. THE SINNER IS YOU went evenly failing to menace. TRUTH AND HONESTY pressed the pace from between rivals and came up empty nearing the far turn. KING MIANO vied for the lead down the backside from three wide and faltered midway on the final bend dropping to the rear.
