Chart notes
ST. LOUIE LOUIE set the pace into the first turn, gave up the lead at the six furlong marker, dropped back and saved ground into the far bend, shifted out three wide, rallied to make the lead at the top of the stretch, responded under right then left handed urging and drew off late while drifting out. STRIKE APPEAL stalked the early pace three wide, made the lead two wide early on the far turn, shook clear before the quarter pole, set the pace into the stretch then was no match for the winner. STAR ENTERTAINER with the second flight two wide, dug in through deep stretch three wide and just missed getting up for second. QUARANTINO set a pressured pace down the backstretch and into the far turn, kept on until mid stretch then weakened. STORMIN'UNCLEJACK was no factor. DIXIE'S TWO STENTS was no threat.
