MARTINI MARTIN outpaced while three wide early, commenced a bid on the far turn, rallied while five wide into the stretch and held sway in the late going under steady pressure. STRIKING SPARKS exchanged brushes with BROADCASTER in the initial stages, was outrun while four wide, continued four wide into the stretch, lodged a bid but was worn down in the final sixteenth. THE BEST DISTANCE prompted the early pace along the inside fence, was angled off the rail at the three-quarter pole and stayed on in the stretch. COLLECTION DAY reserved early, was angled in for the stretch run and came up empty. FINAL DRAMA gained the early lead, was challenged on the far turn and gave way in the stretch. BROADCASTER exchanged brushes with STRIKING SPARKS early, raced in striking position three wide, went seven wide into the stretch and lacked a rally.
