ECHO SISTER broke out, stalked the pace, rallied into the second turn, assumed command, drew off for a clear lead and was ridden out. BEVERLY DINER settled off the pace, rallied around the turn, finished well and gained late to narrow the gap. GOSPEL DARLENE drew clear entering the backstretch, tired into the second turn, went evenly late and held for show. FLAT OUT READY raced mid pack, advanced inside on the second turn to get within range, lacked a bid and was not a threat. COOL AMERICAN BABE was not a factor.
