MAUI STRONG showed the way along the inside around the first turn, got headed by an outer rival at the five furlong pole and moved to stalk from the two path shortly after, ranged up in the three path entering the lane to offer a rebid outside of the leader in upper stretch, gained command at the furlong grounds and drove clear. HONEY DUTCH stalked two wide, forged an advantage with five furlongs to go, remained in the two path while leading around the far turn, got collared by an outer bidder in upper stretch, was headed by that one at the furlong grounds then managed place. WHATCHADOIN (IRE) pursued two wide then stayed on mildly but needed more for place. MEMORY raced off of the pace along the inside and failed to factor.
