Chart notes
LOWER BROADWAY angled out early and tracked two to three wide, responded to left handed asks leaving the three sixteenths, seized command inside the furlong grounds and eagerly drew out under a steady hand ride. CHIEF MORTER , forced out at the break, corrected and cleared in the opening sixteenths, secured the inside and set a rated pace, came under a ride near the three sixteenths, clung to the advantage to mid stretch, was unable to contain the winner and weakened through the final seventy yards. CREATING HAVOC , off slowly when hitting the outer portion of his stall, regrouped and chased four wide, failed to kick on near mid stretch and faded. GO CHICAGO veered out sharply leaving the gate bothering CHIEF MORTER, straightened and dropped off the pace, raced three wide into the lane but failed to generate a serious finish. MOUNTAIN MIKE chased three wide early on, shifted on for the run around the turn, failed to kick on entering the lane and faltered.
