Chart notes
ECHO SEVEN broke sharp, hustled clear around the turn, unchallenged upper, held safe driving. CRY TOUGH bobbled at the start lost path into the chute, settled off the pace around the turn, cut the corner upper, rallied with good energy for the place. NAVY BAND pressed inside from the quarter pole, drifted out into the lane, never able to switch leads through the stretch, stayed on willingly for the show. BOSS LADY K P chased the leader four wide into the lane, running on the wrong lead had no late kick. MAIDSTONE saved ground off the pace, had no late response. CANDY TRICKS pressed three wide off the pace around the turn, five wide through the lane, weakened to the wire.
