Chart notes
WEST COAST BULL saved ground setting the pace under pressure from DYNAMIC SECRET, opened a clear lead entering the stretch and maintained a safe advantage. DYNAMIC SECRET prompted WEST COAST BULL racing two-wide but was unable to stay with that one during the drive but held on well for the place. ADIOS NICANOR was allowed to settle while racing three-wide and finished in a mild rally. BLUEGRASS LENT was close-up racing along the inside but lacked a rally. LUCKY CODE bobbed at the start then raced in tight while two-wide, was shuffled back nearing the three-eighths pole, swung out to be six-wide nearing the quarter pole and failed to menace.
