Chart notes
PERFECT DIXIE LADY light bump early, in mid pack for five furlongs while out in the course, advanced to a forward position while four wide through the second turn, challenged entering the straight, dueled past the furlong marker, put that rival away and kicked well clear under steady handling. MAE'S MAJESTY moved up to a forward position soon after the start, a bit keen while getting out early in the first bend, chased the leader onto the backstretch, challenged that one late backstretch, dueled through that bend, held a slight advantage into the lane, responded when the winner came calling soon after, could not match strides with that same foe late, held the place. MOJANE METAL raced in the second flight while toward the inside, crept a bit closer in the two path far turn, tipped out three wide for the drive, lacked a winning response in the drive, narrowly prevailed for the show. WHISKEY CHASIN light bump after the stat, lacked speed inside, moved closer along the rail then experienced some traffic into the final turn, came in the two path for the drive, dueled for the show spot to the outfinished. NOVA NOVA NOVA devoid of any early in trailing for five furlongs, saved ground into the far turn, swung out sharply to be seven wide for the drive, improved position with some belated interest down the middle of the course. METALLIC MAID four wide when in mid pack through the first turn, continued outside, raced five out to six wide through the second bend, went evenly through the stretch in lacking a closing response. DAY STORM in the second group while between horses past the wire the first time, bothered when the runner up got out a bit into the first bend, remained in the second flight for a half then fell back and then came up empty for the drive. HAMMYDOWN away well from along the inside, got clear to show the way into and through the first turn, continued to set the pace backstretch, was joined by a rival to duel into the far turn, continued to hold a narrow advantage midway on that bend then gave way when headed entering the stretch, continued to fade down the lane. KISSES FOR COOPER forwardly placed outside, floated out a bit to be four wide early in the first turn, gave way after a half. HELLO FLASH four wide into the first turn when back off the pace, angled in, made little impact while racing off the inside.
