Chart notes

TOM'S SPIRIT prompted the pace racing three-wide, took the lead from MIGHTY MO nearing the eighth pole and quickly drew clear. MIGHTY MO hopped at the start then moved up between horses to set the pressured pace racing two-wide, was unable to stay with TOM'S SPIRIT during the drive but held on well the place. FIRE WIRE saved ground while being unhurried, slipped through during the drive and finished strongly. HIGHTAIL COWBOY disputed the early pace racing along the inside and weakened. LITIGANT was allowed to settle racing two-wide, came three-wide into the stretch and lacked a rally.
