Chart notes
FORTUNE KING dueled with STAR OF BETHLEHEM throughout from along the outside and proved best in a prolonged drive. STAR OF BETHLEHEM saved ground dueling with FORTUNE KING for the lead but wasn't quite good enough in a game try. THE ACE PROJECT was allowed to settle racing three-wide and finished well for third in a steady effort. LUMPSTER broke in to bump with CROSS POWER then was two-wide racing in the middle of the field and went evenly late. HAUTE ALLURE broke out to bump with CROSS POWER then saved ground chasing the pace but lacked a rally. CROSS POWER was bumped from both sides and pinched back at the start then was unhurried, came in nearing the eighth pole and failed to menace. ENCHANTING CAT saved ground racing in the back of the field, steadied nearing the eighth pole when CROSS POWER came in and was not a factor.
