Chart notes
DAY TO DAY was allowed to settle on the outside three to two wide, advanced on the far turn two wide and came two to three wide off the turn and drew even for command leaving the three sixteenths and then hit the front by the furlong marker and drew clear under very little hand urging and was wrapped up under confident handling. SUN CROSS was reserved early, two to three wide on the far turn and finished well late to gain the place award while no match for the winner. QUADRA set the pace while clear and drew off down the backside and then was headed leaving the three-sixteenths marker and fought on to the sixteenth marker but weakened while lasting for the show award. BUZZAWAY was reserved early two wide, two to three wide on the far turn and swung out five wide leaving the turn and had a belated rally to miss the show award. LATE NITE CALL brushed at the break, settled along the rail and tired. REDHEADEDSTEPCHILD chased the pace on the inside and advanced on the far turn inside the winner but tired in the lane. C C COMMANDER was settled back early and took an awkward step entering the backside and then fell far back and was never a factor.
